About

I am not what I am, I am what I do with my hands… (Louise Bourgeois)

I’m just another millennial with a blog and a cat and a passion for textiles.

Textiles have been a huge part of my life. I was taught basic handwork in preschool and something in my brain just clicked – since then I haven’t been able to stop. My obsession fully solidified in college, where I obtained a BFA in Fibers and Textiles. I was able to explore many fiber processes and histories but absolutely fell in love with knitting. Since then I’ve started designing knitting patterns. Many of my patterns are inspired by traditional patterns but utilize modern techniques and construction for an updated look and fit. My designs also utilize yarn that is widely available. A person doesn’t need to spend big money on yarn in order to create beautiful, envious objects.
